Atty. Riccardo Traina Chiarini



Riccardo Traina Chiarini has extensive experience in the field of intellectual property, especially on trademark, patent, design and copyright infringement litigation and in the areas of new technology law and private and corporate law, also at an international level.

He collaborates with IP_Law_Galli, as of counsel, since year 2015, and he is also head of Studio Legale Chiarini, in Bologna, since year 2013.

Education:
Law degree magna cum laude at Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna, with a dissertation in Commercial Law about the participation of the State in public corporations (2010);
Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Global Business Law from the New York University – School of Law and (2012 – 2013);
Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property and Technology Law from the National University of Singapore (2012 – 2013).
Lecture for the “Master in diritto penale dell’impresa e dell’economia” (corporate criminal law) of the University of Bologna (2015);
Lecture for the “International Sales Strategies” program of the Bologna Business School (2017).

Career highlights:
He gained significant professional experience in a notable Barcelona (Spain) law firm, in the State Attorneys Office of Bologna and the Nike Brand Protection Department in Italy.
